The consortium of Ajlan & Bros Holding Group, ENGIE Energy International and Nesma Company Ltd. won the development of the Jubail 3B project (seawater desalination plant - IWP) public tender offered by the Saudi Water Partnership Company. The project aims to develop the sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant to reach a production capacity of 600,000 cubic meters per day, and also includes the operation and maintenance services. The 25-year build-own-operate (BOO) basis project, is worth approximately US$800 million with Ajlan & Bros Holding Group owning a 30% stake.
