Ajlan & Bros 与 Hail Health Cluster 和 Xcelom Ltd. 签署了两项协议,以管理协调健康保健项目及提供基因监测服务
Ajlan & Bros Medical Company signed an agreement with the Hail Health Cluster to provide a wide platform for managing and coordinating healthcare for Hail region. It focuses particularly on the first line of healthcare, which is represented in achieving the goals of health prevention.
It also signed a similar agreement with "Xcelom Ltd" – Hong Kong to establish a joint venture to address the major needs and requests in genetic testing and genome research in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This partnership is a long-term strategy between the two groups.
Vice Chairman of Ajlan & Bros Holding Group, Mohammad Bin Abdul Aziz Al Ajlan, said that this cooperation will focus on a number of key health aspects, including increasing access to genetic tests for various conditions in local communities, and building and operating world-class genetic laboratories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while enhancing the ability to conduct advanced research in genomics in the Kingdom, indicating that the Ajlan & Bros Holding Group has turned to this vital field, as a contribution to supporting the goals of Vision 2030, in aspects related to improving life for society, by focusing on the field of health prevention, and this, at the same time, is in line with the objectives that established the “Quality of Life Program” in the Kingdom, as it aims to improve the healthy environment and provide all the elements that serve the advancement of the health sector, through many modern paths that are successively discovered by modern medicine and contribute directly and indirectly to providing a better life for humanity.
For her part, CEO of Ajlan & Bros Medical Company, Dr. Shatha Abu Zinada, said that our project with the Hail Health Cluster will present various technologies, processes, and capabilities in managing healthcare to the Hail Health Cluster with competencies and employment of the best technologies that serve preventive healthcare. In his turn, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi, CEO of Hail Health Cluster, said: “Through this project, we will be able to identify the population at high risk and provide preventive services and intensive care. Through this platform, we aim for citizens to obtain appropriate care in the right place and at the right time".
Commenting on agreement with Xcelom, Abu Zinada explained: "This step with Xcelom will constitute a major advance in the capacity of genetic testing in the Kingdom, and will improve prevention measures, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of a genetic nature, and we will also be able to provide pioneering technology in early detection of various cancers using genetic technology.”
She added that this vital and important investment for people's lives will employ the capabilities of the two partners to achieve scientific and practical strength together in future research in genetics and genomics in the Kingdom.

Xcelom is a wholly owned subsidiary of “Berry Group” of Hong Kong, the licensee and leading exclusive provider of Non-Invasive Prenatal Tests (NIPT), patented by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
